tonight (or rather this morning) marks my last hours of mugging for the semester

will be all out to conquer my last paper for the year

coming to an end soon

first half of horror has just ended

with the other half to be tormented next week

each time i came out from the exam hall

deduction of precious marks will always be realised

ive no idea how i would fare for the 2 papers this week

all i know is am soo wanting to do well for all of the papers

and i will be extremely disappointed

if results do not turn out the way it should be

least... best knows he has done his best~

but still... job not done and his second journey of hell week starts right now:(

finally. completed my registration for this dec's taipei half-marathon! woohoo. credits to sgrunners who hav attempted the race before provide me with comprehensive assistance. and authorities from chinese taipei road running association whom replied to my emails promptly and clearly despite me havin difficulty understanding 'traditional' chinese characters throughout the registration process. haas.

cant wait to pound my first overseas race in my first trip to taipei! as much am looking forward to this coming dec. at this point of time. am feeling extremely worried for my papers in a week's time. argh. to point where am slowly losing confidence of 'improving' my results from last sem.

particularly. am feeling at "risk" for risk management paper. which revision has been giving me countless question marks. tons of trash papers. and screams of frustrations. haas. on top of it. am neglecting price theory and business finance for sometime and i needa get back on track asap.

am in need of strength and... sleep

aft an 'excessive and vigorous' revision at woodlands regional lib earlier today. dozed off almost immediately once home. and here i am widely awake at this hr. head down to woodlands lib as campus lib is closed for these 2days. thou' its quite a distance away frm home. felt that the place is pretty condusive to mug through the day. way better than tamp lib. or even campus lib which has been packed with muggers recently and can be quite disturbed at times be'cos of the construction in campus.

with the 'state of mode' am in now. dont think i'll fall asleep before dawn. and ive no idea how i can survive the whole day later. haas. has been preparing for my econs test next mon & final paper @ the end of the mth for the past 1week. but also has been neglecting the other 3modules at the same time. argh. with only 18days left to my first paper. best is feeling the heat and stress as each day seems to diminish at an increasing rate. hence. best shall declare red-hot exam mode early this semester :(

am determined to do well be'cos of your encouragement
you hav been given me all these while
you are missed...
~one fine day~

best of me is back aft 2weeks hiatus due to mid-term tests. good news? am able to conquer the tests pretty well i would say. has already secured 36 out of 40% for price theory with business finance and risk management test results releasing real soon. bad news? i'll be on stress mood in coming weeks as exams are around the corner! argh.
first paper will come haunting me in 4weeks. am still in e midst of planning how to segregate my revision as my weakest link among these 4modules lies on risk management & am sooo in need of time to prepare for this paper. nonetheless. wanna spend more time on the rest of the modules too as ive pretty 'high hopes' for them. haas. looks like 24hrs-a-day for the next 4weeks is not enough for me! haas.

shall put these 'horror scenes-to-be' aside...

what an eventful week this week! since risk management test ended last fri. had a good hang out sessions with family. close frenz. uni peepz and ex-colleagues over the week. attended the rmit bash @ zirca the day aft risk mgt test. "sadly" objective is not to catch the bash but to party through the night! haas. keeping our 'clubbing energy' alive. had another session @ zouk on wed night to celebrate francis's belated birthday.

not fogetting family and frenz whom specially arranged meet-ups this week before best goes on "mugging mode". great to see ex-colleagues from ace again thou' its attendance is juz like how things are going over there - pathetic! haas. but still. glad to see former "friendly-ace-neighbour" gwennie. ah jo. germaine and xavier doing well:)

this week also celebrated sissy and ah gu's birthday at sakura and timbre respectively. it was until yesterday. the evening class guys had a game of futsal at east coast for the first time to conclude this 'class-less' week!

singapore's very own version of 'wonder boys'

i know i shouldnt blog at this hour as i'll be having my biz finance test in 12hrs. but i thought it would be nice to share something am been 'itching' for the past week. haas. as you know. am a huge-lover for shoes and due to budget constraints. i couldnt get the shoes i want as quickly as i fell in love with it. but this time. am in contemplation & 'dilemma' between 2 different uses of shoes. and am sooo "dying" to get one of these pairs. haas.

first is an onitsuka tiger shoe which caught my eye @ cineleisure last week. its white-base with black & gold lining almost 'burned' my wallet immediately. haas. "fortunately" it does not hav my size and was kinda persistent to hav that particular pair at that point of time. hence. i left my contacts with the retailer whom will ship in the pair next month. argh no.1!

second "money-burner" is a totally different use from the first pair. since early this year. ive been wanting to get a new pair of running shoe but haven been able to suit my preference & budget. my all-time fav "race" shoe has companied me with joy and pain for the past 10 races and countless training sessions. and i'll definitely cant bear to part with this >400km mileage shoe:(

had a trial on nike+lunar with the i-runners last year and it really sparked me off with its light-weight cushioning. but was held back to purchase the pair as it was really expensive. however this time. am soooo in love with its new edition. nike+lunarglide which launched in april this year. argh no.2!

this nike+sportband will be the best complement good for nike+lunarglide
best seldom fails to get what he wants when comes to 'self-indulgence'

but this is going to put me into deep thoughts

decision will be revealed at the end of the month or early next month:)

pounded the streets of changi for the inaugural yellow ribbon prison run this morning. the race was flagged off near changi village and the run brings runners past some of the prisons and historical sites around the area. before crossing the finishing line inside the changi prison complex. started off with a 5min/km pace along loyang ave stretch before havin to face the first of 9 inclines of the run! haas.

the highlight of the run gotta be passing through the 'famous' old changi prison wall and into the prison complex itself. my first visit to the place and it reminds me of local dramas & documentaries where offenders are released out from the old gatehouse. despite couple of slow-paced uphill running. managed to come in sub-1hr timing of approx. 56mins. excellent race organisation. terrific & scenic race route. will definitely be back to support this project & challenge for better results next yr.

this morning run will most probably be my last race before standchart half-marathon in dec. as ive decided to give next week's mizuno wave run & next month's nike human race a miss. means i'll be slacken away from running for sch the next 2mths. haas.

with run and aerobics taken up my beautiful sunday morning. had no choice but to nap throughout the afternoon. with the chilly weather further contributes to the extention of my napping hours. haas. its !test week! and yet ive done nothing on revision today. argh. just not a good day to study but tossing on the bed. haas.

for the first time in my education history. i come across a petition to the management in bringing a lecturer to "justice". the reason? incompetent. arrogant. childish. rude. and all kinds of negative remarks you can find from the online petition. one test down. another test this week. and we'll be left with 3lectures for this module before exams. hence will it be an advantage for us?

i admit that 'this lecturer' does not know his work well & doesnt hav the cut of being a mentor to his students. by submitting a petition and waiting for decision to be made by the management. i'll most probably will hav 'flopped' my paper and getting ready for the next semester. haas. we can voice out but it seems that it will not advantage us on the whole. this is why i do not hav the intention to sign the petition. as ive already given up hope with this lecturer. but instead will do most of my own readings for this module:(

disappointingly. i hav to say that 'this lecturer' has ruined the interest of world of economics. haiz!

best needs to get things going... like now!

4hrs of business finance in the wee hours

blends perfectly well with coffee club's mocha java and mango peach smoothie

only 1min walk from my place to tamp1's coffee club

looks like ive found a quiet cosy place to mug through the night

best is fighting against time and

does not wish for sept to arrive any time soon

best declares red-hot test mode!
