happy boxing day

why is 26dec known as "boxing day"? to my understanding on this day there will be several bpl matches played. despite its weekday. and this is how i got to know boxing day. haas. prob this day is widely celebrated in united kingdom or 'ang mo' countries. christmas duty was good afterall. time passed pretty fast. had magazines and music ocuppied me through the morning. afterwhich its movie marathon after lunch. watched "survivor", "alien vs predator", "flashpoint" and "house of mahjong". perfect time to catch "alien vs predator" as its 2nd part gotta release soon! dont understand a s*** from "house of mahjong" because i know nuts about this boring sport. haas. severe boredom is killing me. stared at ceiling for most of the time before hitting the gym this afternoon. but it will not be the case for the next few days. sentosa "tanning" tomorrow with bin before getting back to work. not in flight but in kitchen! haas. you must be wondering - kitchen? yesh. dont be surprised. i'll be putting on mummy's apron to get this recipe done. believe it or not. hopefully things will turn out to be nice. haas... **thank you liming for your wonderful-made christmas card. esp the santa. haas. many thanks to friends who sent your wishes too!** this is the day we remember the victims of tsunami 2004. this disaster washed & killed more than thousands of people around asia. though singapore was not affected by tsunami, its our neighbouring countries who affected the most. our little island is fortunate that we are protected by these big sister countries. i just cant imagine tsunami hitting our east coast or sentosa shores or other natural disasters affecting us. my heart goes out to families, friends of affecting victims. god... please bless them as well as the survivors. god... please do not allow natural disasters to conquer this earth. and god... please bless everyone around me, family, relatives and friends.
