am back to workouts after hiatus for 3weeks. hit the gym as well a slow-paced run at east coast park this afternoon. did some light weight training with jaz as both of us hav not been visiting the gym for more than a month. myths or facts? does our muscles begin to 'shrink' and convert to fats when we stop working out? haas. this was one topic being brought up during our session. another topic was "intake and output" of calories in our bodies for the past weeks. yesh. food indulgence from cny period and "ord-mood-eating-disorder" (jaz claimed to hav this syndrome haas) forced us to consume more calories than burning it over the past few weeks. argh. "guilt!" haas. for the past 2days. was soo eager to put on my running gear and pound the pavement. as ive felt soo much better on my ankle since last week. thus head down to east coast park. with liming jas & xinhui cycling and me running. had a good 6km run at an approx. time of 40mins. however had to look for shelter twice through the run due to heavy downpour. on the whole i felt soo much better after the run without facing any difficulties. prob due to the rain? as it goes about saying "rain rain run under the rain, let the rain wash away the pain" looking forward for more runs in coming weeks.
