who can provide the best coverage & value-for-money deals for soccer fanatics like me? in the past i would welcome the idea of 2 service providers to contend exclusive rights for epl & champions league matches. so as to see which service provider offers the 'cheapest-yet-good' deals. however ive got different opinion now.

singtel recently clinched exclusive rights for champions league matches from 2009 season. which means starhub cable vision viewers like me will miss all champions league actions as starhub will terminate its broadcasting rights from ESPN starsports then. which means i wont get to watch champions league but able to do soo for epl matches (kind of wierd feeling if you are a soccer fan) which also means i'll need both mioTV and starhub cable if i wanna catch both matches.

we hav been paying soo much for starhub. and yet we are being treated like this? its totally unfair to us and what these 2 service providers did definitely hav NO interest of soccer fans in singapore! back to singtel. it doesnt come cheap if you decide to catch champions league from mioTV. you'll hav to subscribe mioTV, broadband as well as mobile services before you can hav a can of tiger beer watching your fav team battling out in world's most prestigous club tournament.

will we get to pay lesser for starhub? or will starhub find other ways to bring back champions league for their "devoted-yet-complaining" viewers? why do i wan to hav to go someone's house with mioTV when ive the best seat & view at home to catch these matches in the middle of the night? bring BACK champions league, starhub!!
