ace team-building day...

no appointments.launches for the day as we head down to east coast park for our team-building programme. downpours did not dampen our spirits from engaging our activity - sandcastle building. seriously i cant remember myself playing with the sands during my childhood days. haas.

building sandcastles is not as simple as i thought. dumping sands into a pail & pull it up is all i knew. after today there are several techniques and lesson learnt which can be input into our daily work life too. in addition "castle can fly" author, alvin lee's distinctive creation of the toys make sandcastle building more interesting and easier. was fascinated with how different tools designed to build these sandcastles. and these kit doesnt come cheap either. at a cost of 38bucks!

had our arabic lunch at nabins along bali lane before we carry on the rest of the afternoon programme at the restaurant. cozy ambience.appetizing lunch brings the mood down alittle with talks & presentations conclude our team-building day. for sure. am totally not used to the middle-east cusine they served. besides the main course. the soup.desserts doesn't blend well with my taste buds. haas.

managed to clock 27mins for yesterday's 5km 'city run' after work. on a lighter note. 2mins improvement to last week's run. on a darker note. with a 10km race coming up this weekend. insufficient trainings hav forced me to be unprepared to run.against.time.

one more taper run before gearing up for this sun's mizuno wave run...
