no studying in library please

no studying in library please...

as i made my way to tamp lib yesterday afternoon. settled down along the roll of tables packed with people. getting ready to do some self-study. flipped the new paper. and the following headline caught my attention...

was thinking if i shuld stay or leave the lib upon reading the news. haas. however i glanced to my both sides and realised that there were sooo many people studying. in the end. i chose to stay put since i rarely visit the lib and was badly in need the blackboard to do my revision. haas.

in fact. tamp lib isnt a conducive place for self-study be'cos the seats are sooo close to one another. due to space constraints. i had to 'squeeze' between 2 ladies and i couldnt really concentrate well at some point of time. haas. thou' i managed to complete my revision without any distraction. haas.

took opportunity to visit the lib on my day off from sch yesterday. as staying home wuld definitely increase my level of 'laziness'. haas. and ive no idea that we are not allowed to study in some lib & those 'studying' hav to give up their seats to ones 'browsing' lib materials. this clearly shown ive not been visiting lib all these while. fortunately. tamp lib is more flexible whn comes to students using the facilities to study. despite the 'limited' space.

"no studying in library" is pretty reasonable thou'. esp smaller lib where facilities are limited. and its being fair to those who visit the lib for the books. guess designated areas for self-study is prob the best solution to those wished to study without being "chase away" by the librarians.

best will be in test mode for next 2weeks...
