team devils gun maiden race

team devils gun maiden race... managed to compete 2 running events for first quarter of 2009. last weekend's suburban 10km team run being the latest race held along sengkang-punggol route. first competitive team race being held in singapore. and my first participation in a team race along with bro jaz. team devils gun came in 44th place (out of 115teams) at a combined time of 2hrs 4mins 16secs. an individual average time of 1hr 2mins. based on 'gun timing'. "to be exact". our watches showed that we crossed the finishing line at the sub hr mark. another excellent race organised by hivelocity. the one behind last yr's world's first night marathon. however. the organisers decided to flag off sun's suburban run at 8am instead of the usual early hours. and start all categories at one go. prob they tried to minimize the bazaar noise from the sengkang neighbourhood. haas. team devils gun started the race at the mid-pack and couldnt picked up the pace aft the flag off due to the large crowd. despite 3lanes opened up for this event. haas. afterall. we started pretty well. we had to overcome the morning sun aft the 4km u-turn mark. which caused us to slow down our pace alittle. we tried to push each other and nevertheless. we managed to keep a constant 6min/km pace throughout the run and crossed the finishing line together.      team devils gun vows to return back with better results next yr!cheers to the teamwork! more photos to be uploaded. courtesy frm snapshots with 2races down. am looking forward to next 2 this coming may. and more races to compete throughout the yr. woosh. registration for singapore bay run & army half marathon has opened! am still in dilemma to take up the 10km or half-marathon. besides attempting to beat my 10km pb. the 10km race is more economical than the half-marathon. seeing the fact that am currently income-less. haas. enough of running! am kinda lost with macro at the moment. having spent more than 4hrs understanding past lecture notessss. am not sure if lecturer screwed it all up or my "poor ability" to understand. lost is the key word ever since he took over frm the foreign lecturer. shucks! switching lecture notesss doesnt help us to understand better. it makes the learning process mind-numbing and confused. ive totally hav no idea what.where.how to study. american idol... country songs... cheers.ciaoz Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 6:24 PM
