sundown training.week2day4... had my first lsd run this evening along the same "scary" route. 'run safe'. i started off slightly earlier. had a good slow 26km run in approx. 2hrs 43mins. felt extremely good except for some aching on my calf aft the run. prob is the light drizzle that makes the run comfortably smooth. as usual pounded along the infamous route of pasir ris dr 3 before turning into loyang ave. and last stretch of cranwell & netheravon road before the finishing line of the race. that's where sundowners hav to overcome at least 300m uphill task. as the map shown. it can be seen that there's an increase in elevation as approaching changi beach park. no doubt. it requires mental strength to battle this task as sundowners approach the finishing line next week. took a 10mins break & some stretching near tekong ferry terminal. at the same time flashback of bmt memories. haas. before returning back home along the same route. will be attempting my 2nd & final 30-35km lsd run before preparing for some taper runs next week. indeed a rush week towards sundown. argh! cheers.ciaoz Labels: running Posted by BEST at 12:59 AM
