finally.. able to take a good rest from a last day mad rush clean up before ushering the lunar new year! hope all had a warmth reunion dinner and wonderful time spent with your loved ones earlier. no exception for the huangs this year. had a scrumptious steamboat with a heartwarming company of my family.

families do get together for dinner now and then. what's more, some families do hav steamboat couple of times every year. hence, why is this day sooo special to us? we can say its our chinese custom that we 'must' hav reunion dinner on this day. for me, every lunar new year eve i'll get to see each of my family member moving around the house from morning, busy doing last min tidy.clean up before the clock strikes 12mn. thats where the reunion dinner kicks in, giving a heartwarming feast for everyone.

will be doing visits for the next 2-3days where some of us will get to catch up with relatives or friends whom we get to do so only once a year. i always dread going to my paternal side one the first day as i'll feel extremely bored with simply no one to talk to! they are either too old or too young to connect with me. besides, its really sad to see members slowly drifting away jus becos a senior member has passed on.

no doubt. i'll still get to enjoy the rest of the "holidays" before getting my ass back to notes.. seriously! difficulty settling down (even browsing through the notes) for the past weeks. and with the cny hovering this 2weeks, i wonder whn i will get my brains moving. haas.

all i had for the past few weeks was splendid time spent with uni peeps & friends over activities like hang-out & movies, ubin & kite-flying sessions. never i learn the vulnerability of friendship until today where it can make or break it if one doesnt treasure or words/actions go wrong between both parties. if something is wrong, do some reflection & fix it if you can as actions speak louder than words!
