cny is around the corner! did spring cleaning for the past 2 weekends and i realized that there are loads of redundant items lying around. what should hav kept ive kept it in my wardrobe. else it was either dumped or donation to the salvation army. however. there are few items i would like to sell off. hopefully can get hold of some pre-angbao cash! haas. best.of.me may not hav high traffic of readers. but i do appeal to all my "diehard" readers or "once-in-awhile" readers to 'shout out' to your frenz or family/relatives who might be keeping a lookout for the following items. jvc 21" normal television @ $40  comes with a new remote control as the old one was smashed aft constant falling from my bed for the past few yrs! haas. nevertheless tv remains in perfect condition! had to get rid of it as new arrangement to my room prevents me from watching tv while asleep! haas. next... hyundai 22" lcd tv @ $80  unused lcd tv lying in room as best has preference for normal tv over lcd tv during his growing-up days. haas. keeping it will only create more cob-web! lastly...  reason is simple! sissy and i hav upgraded to an ipod touch! haas. prices are negotiable and am dying to get rid of these items hence interested parties may contact me or 'shout out' on the tagboard cheers.ciaoz Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 4:26 PM

 without checking out its trailer or synopsis earlier i simply hav no idea what was this movie about before screening less than a minute into the movie.. it scares the hell out of me!!! and was held in scary suspense for the rest of the show as a movie-goer am not a fan of horror or gore movies as i dont think my hearty can take such shocks (haas!) movie-goers who love vampires (not twilight kind but those scary ones!) and all the screamings might want to consider catching this - daybreakers Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 2:57 AM

new year. fresh look decided to give best of me a fresh look after 1 1/2yr. simplicity remains the criteria whn doing up a new blogskin. this is why i chose this newspaper-themed outlook and hope this new look doesnt disappoint my readers! 22days into new year. 7days to the end of my stint with mom's company. longest.busiest task assigned to me to date. thou' spending 3mths of my "youth" in an "auntie working environment" can be quite a challenge (haas!) ive learned alot from these experienced staffs. esp whn comes to swift decision-making. only drawback is that they love to whine! jus like other typical aunties on the streets! and that's include mom too! haas. importantly i can feel a sense of achievement to see a new department set-up with the help of mom and auntie sandy. school kicked off on mon! with work continues till month-end. and am already feeling exhausted aft only 4 lectures. slow start to lessons. concentration level drops to 0% once "bell rings" for lecture at 7pm. one thing for sure - i cant work & study at the same time. haas. not only school had a slow start. no runs registered for the first half of year sooo far! no newton 10km run & suburban 10km team run this year and not taking up sundown marathon in may due to the price hike looks likely to contribute more lazy-ing around & putting more load to my body mass. haas. only north east run scheduled on 14 march the one race am still contemplating to register. 3weeks into 2010 and many things hav happened since... guess many of us know the haiti earthquake that trembled and killed tens of thousands of people in the caribbean country last week. one of the worst disasters aft the 2004 tsunami i can remember. did mention abt disasters aft watching 2012 a mth ago. and all of sudden this happens in a country across the globe. come to think of it. its disheartening to see these countries not only hit by poverty but disasters too.  thousands of homes destroyed  even the republic's presidential building couldnt withstand the earthquake  citizens left stranded on the streets with their homes destroyed some even resort to violence and loots to keep them survive from the ruins we will usually "touch-&-go" abt how unfortunate this happens in these countries becos our country is unlikely to experience poverty or disasters. all we talk about for the past few days is the excitement sentosa world's casino & universal studios going to boomz our economy and tourist visits. haas. able to take a day off tomolo gives me more time to settle my sch stuffs. payment of sch fee & tonnes of notes to print for the sem. before doing some retail therapy for cny wears & catching up with uni peeps over dinner tmr evening. cheers.ciaoz Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 2:22 AM

2010 started with lottas work.work.work. thou' each day is extremely tiring & dull. its a good sign! as this means income is flowing in with more self-indulgence to pamper myself. haas. returning to school in a week. simply hav no time & chance to enjoy myself for the rest of the week. but to only to "look forward" to sch reluctantly. nevertheless managed to meet up with the guys for night cycling last friday, instead of our usual runs or drinking sessions. started off from tampines at 11pm and tour towards sentosa. clocking a total mileage of 52km and damaging our asses aft 7hrs of cycling. haas. no doubt. an eventful catch up session with these peeps before each of us head back to school these 2weeks.    best in "back-to-school" mode Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 11:01 PM

there goes 2009. here comes 2010 yet another year came to an end. and we hav ushered a new year few hours ago. 2009 was incredible! whn best returned as a student in feb after hiatus for 2years odd. some bright and dark moments through the uni year. bright? would say i've done well for the year and am looking forward to achieve better results for my final semester & graduate on a high note. dark? particularly disappointed with 'someone' who caused soo much damage within a short span of period. at times i wish i wouldnt hav anything to do with you. but what's been done or said has already caused sooo much hurt & disappointment. emotions aside. on a happy note. raced a total of 150km running events for 2009. with fubon taipei half-marathon marks my first overseas run 2weeks ago. furthermore. managed to beat my long-awaited half-marathon personal best & improved my record for full-marathon at sundown marathon. where i'll be taking a 'bye' in full-marathon distance this year. resolutions for this year hav been drafted. besides the usual running activities to be achieved this year. my 'top of the list' resolution gonna be to graduate with distinctions! and of course land on a prospective job & work for the $money$! haas. on the last note. hope all put unhappiness & sadness from 2009 behind & move towards a fabulous 2010 ahead. cheers.ciaoz happy new year to all may 2010 brings good luck and health to everyone Labels: best from me Posted by BEST at 3:36 AM
